… we were all very young then . . . it called for an all-night party …
[Description by Uncle Ricky]
As if a short interview with Gene Chenault wasn’t enough, this awesome hour opens with some boss samples of Bob Taylor in 1967, and closes with Sean Conrad from “the early seventies”.
The BIG payoff in this boss bonanza is Sam Schwann. Here’s an “old-timer” that was as good as gold for the 1972 KYNO silver Anniversary. Were they celebrating their original sign-on in 1947? Whatever, Schwann is totally casual but he cannot be ignored. The very helpful Dirk Robinson understands Sam’s “star quality”.
A GREAT listen!
The airchecks are all partially (if not totally) ‘scoped, but three full-length tunes are included, too. There are some pre-Drake jingles in this hour as well.
