This is probably the cleanest recording of 1960’s KFRC that we’ve been privileged to share here at REELRADIO.
It’s unscoped, and taped at the studio on December 6, 1968.
The late K.O. Bayley (aka Bob Elliot) is featured on the 10PM – 2AM shift. This half hour starts at 11:30 and continues a few minutes past midnight. (The last two songs (incomplete) were actually played earlier that evening, in the 10PM hour.)
You’ll also hear a classic Bill Drake ID, (And The Hits Just Keep On Comin’), a KFRC Christmas Wish promo, the special “K.O.” treatment on a couple of live spots, and a great mix of Northern California Top 40, circa 1968.
