On WKBW in 1964, Joey Reynolds handled the 7pm-Midnight shift.
Reynolds made it clear he was not impressed with The Beatles. Although the Fab Four was taking over America’s airwaves, Reynolds felt that there were local bands in each city that were just as good. Reynolds was also involved with a song called The Beetle, by The Buddies, and he claimed Brian Epstein was pressuring him to change the name.
