Dan Ingram created theater of the mind radio on Saturday, July 22, 1967, as he welcomed a “Hurn” to the studio. Big Dan’s wit and fertile imagination are front and center in this capture of the 4-5PM hour.
The sixteen-tentacled “Hurn” sounds a lot like a synthesizer, and was inspired by a jingle at the beginning of the hour. As you’ll hear, he only knows one tune  the WABC logo!
One of the most enjoyable Big Dan airchecks yet, this one has a respectable stash of memorable classic spots, a grand mix of PAMS jingles and a solid playlist which includes two Pick Hits Of The Week. The only thing edited from the hour were two newscasts.
